True a plasma TV produces a lot of heat. this will very quickly fry the circuitry. The question did you get any advice before having the set built in? All TVs need air to circulate so building in is not a very good idea unless you have some form of cooling system.

So i have a new 13 inch macbook pro and i want to hook it up to my tv that has the red white yellow input and i have read that i would have to get a mini dp to vga cable from apple then get a vga to rca cable from someone else... has anyone tried this and it worked cuz i am reading alot of stuff...
