    I recently downloaded facebookchat on my Nokia c3 phone. It worked just fine up

    Go to facebook.com on any computer. Go to account tab then open privacy settings. Look at the left bottom corner. Click on app settings. Look for ur chat app name and remove it from the list. Then retry on ur phone. It will work. Good luk

    how much "data" does facebook chat use up?

    Very less. Only kbs. U can test this by typing in notepad what u type in chat in 10 min. Then check the size. An multiply according to ur usage. U ll get n estimate.
