I have an iPod touch 3rd generation jailbroken. I need to know if it will restore the iPod when I update it. I know it will remove the jailbreak, but will it restore?

Mine did the same thing I bawled! Lol until it said I need to restore it so I did and although every thing erased I had it backed up and everything worked perfectly! Hope this helped!
