I have the 9mm, i was wondering if there is a way to convert it to a .45acp? Is there a kit to do this? Do i have to take it to a gunsmith or would it be something i could do myself? Also, how much would it cost to do this? If its too much i may just trade in my current one for the .45 acp. thanks

should be fine, in most states you are allowed to own a handgun at 18 years old as long as a parent or legal guardian purchases it and then transfers it to your name. which is not a hard process at all. But if you just want them to buy it and allow you to use it thats fine also
