    for a 1098-T, what do you do if the amount in box 5 is different than the total amount..

    ...for financial aid? my sisters 1098-T, box 5 is 4625. however she gave me this list for grants and scholarships she recieved. Federal Pell Grant: $1300 Colorado Student Grant: $950 CSU Land Grant: $2375 Gilman Scholarship: $4000 do i add all these together and then subtract the amount in box...
