Not much is known about Ichigo's father. But it is implied that he was once a shinigami and a captain as well. I'd guess that he was the Captain of Division 10, based on the Turn Back the Pendulum Arc. Because all the captains from 110 years ago were accounted for except Div 10. I can't remember...
