I currently own the Samsung Eternity. Why would I have problems with the S60? Why would I need to be a techie to use the N97 when I'm ONLY going to be using it for making/receiving calls, for text messaging/instant messaging and for internet surfing? I might also use it to take a few pictures...

SAME HERE! But think i'd take Silver White,looks realy classy and unique,and reminds me of the gorgeous SonyEricsson U1 Satio in Silver, which is such a beauty when you see it in "the flesh", pics do it no justice and i think the Silver White N8 will be the same,especialy since its real metal. :D

If my iphone wasn't jb'd i'd be bored of it within a few months, too. I'd love to sit down with a droid for a week to see which one i like better. I've owned 2 motorola phones and both phones started to fall apart after about 8 months of use.

People like to gripe about the lack of a new processor, but how much would a faster processor really affect the phone? Most aspects of a slow processor can be hidden through clever techniques, like the transitions on the iPhone. I'm not buying the "processor is everything" argument. To me...

Samsung's Touchwiz 3.0 is kind of a mock iPhone UI. The reason most give a nod to HTC Sense, is that they find Touchwiz 3.0 a bit too iPhony for their tastes.

The HTC G1 and MyTouch is for T-Mobile. It's branded isn't it, and would require it being debranded and unlocked in order to use it up here in Canada. She doesn't like the Nokia 5800 and 5530.
