On the track and at the starbucks, the Duck is the way to go. If power is what you're after, the R1 will blow away the Duck in a straight line but the Duct in competent hands will stay if not pass the R1 in the twisties. In stock form that is. -

Which is faster - a 2004 Mazda RX8 or a 2003 WV passat W8?
The W8 would be a little quicker in all straight line competitions over the RX8. The RX8 is a superbly built car that does everything well except for acceleration. By design, it's a 1300cc that's only using 1/3 of the displacement at any given time. It operates like a 2 stroke, hence the poor... -
