I would like to find out from ppl who have ran them..any problems they had, and power developed Im currently running a 5.0 but im looking into stroking the motor down the line

the code is 41 Generator field not switching properly. my question is does this relate to the the distributor and if so what is needed to fix im having trubble with the timing keeps backfiring i cant seem to get it dialed in and misses alot serious loss of power but when motor is not under load...
