I am trying to make a chess game that runs on a LAN network, however I can't get the data between computers, cow can I get the programs to connect over a LAN network?

JavaScript, and PHP All in One"? I got the book from someone for a bargain but the CD was gone. I found out that it was broken, I went to the site but it looks like there is no way to get a replacement CD so I need to download it, anyone know there I can get one? Also I checked amazon and Ebay...
