We got our pickup back and now it's running hot, is idling really high, has no power, and is misfiring. Any ideas? Adjusting the timing hasn't helped and it recently had a full tune-up.

While driving, all the dummy lights came on, it quit running. The fluids are up, it's getting fuel and spark, timing belt isn't broken, distributor is still working properly. It won't even start with starting fluid. Any ideas? Plugs are fine. We will try the suggestion for checking timing. It...

It's a 91 Jeep Cherokee. The engine is history. I had just filled up the tank a few hours before the block cracked. Now, we need to know how to get the fuel back OUT of the tank.
