I have now switched from Vodafone to Eircom but I'm still using the Vodafone modem. With Eircom, I'm promised 8mb broadband speed but I only get between 3 and 4 (same as what I had when I was with Vodafone). Does using a Vodafone modem slow down connection speed if my provider is Eircom?
