If he left his ID, THEY should really be the ones contacting HIM. I suggest treating this as car theft and reporting it to the police until it turns up. If he hasn't been contacted, someone has taken his car illegally.

Harvest Moon FTW! :D In all seriousness, the most action-packed thing you'll get is GTA: Chinatown Wars. It took me about 2 weeks of solid play to fully complete it and it has many interesting side-plots as well as a cool back story.
