Perfectly equal. In my opinion sit down dinners are worse actually b/c I have no time to mingle with anyone I want to sit with and have bad food. If I'd been at a buffet, I could have chosen the food I'd prefer to eat. I'd rather go to a wedding with a buffet any day!
Yes actually. You just have to think of what you want. I have a friend who does that. He has taken a job teaching English in Czech, Japan, and a couple other jobs in Russia and Sweden. Basically he just signs on for one year contracts at these places and saves up enough for the train ticket...
That would depend on a lot of factors. 1) Where the hotel is: in real estate, location location location. NYC cost a lot more than Alabama. Competition dictates price. 2) How big the room is: they usually have multiple ballrooms including a small one that holds 30 people and a huge one...
