I suspect that "all the bad press" is probably coming from people who unlike you have, shall we say.........experienced better.

That's the biggest drawback to moving towards these touch screen devices. Truthfully, I could care less about a touch screen at all, but there are very few phones with high res screens and T9 keypads running S60. Once you use them, you never want to use anything smaller again.
