I think with the vast majority of them a dialogue is hopeless. They have no interest in the science, and if you disagree they call you a liberal, or a leftist--even if the only thing you talk about is the science.

This has been obvious to me for a long time. It not only helps with climate change but social problems of all kinds. It's not what we're "really about," there is vast evidence for AGW whether or not you think population control is a good thing.
