It is like a mulcher and aerating tool..you roll it back and forth in your garden beds ..no matter if veggie or flowers,and it takes and shreds up the topsoils organic matter, as well as loosens and aerates the top 3 or 4 inches of soil at a time..Real good for getting inbetween each plant...
