I am writing a daemon in PHP. It's used in one of my apps to avoid too many MySQL calls: it stores arrays, and returns data from them when needed. This array can grow and shrink in time, sometimes to almost 1Gb, sometimes to no records at all. Does php free RAM when I unset array elements...
