My mechanic is going to buy a rebuilt engine for my ford escort station wagon. I want to know what exactly a "rebuilt" engine is. He says everything is going to be essentially new. Yeah right! What do you all think?

I've been told I need to replace my condenser - I've had the oil put in to test it and looks like a bad leak in the condenser and the whole unit has to be replaced. I've called around and the jeep dealership told me 650 - my best price so far is 450. Is that fair? Thanks.
