Get a 5'8" shortboard. I'm almost 5'11" and I ride a 5'8", but I have been surfing my whole life. If you get a shortboard then you can keep getting better as you get older and you will grow into it. If you get a fish then when you get better you can't do good rips or boost airs very well. Go...
