Sometimes. The GI guy I work with will take random biopsies in IBD patients, because there is sometimes microscopic stuff that can be seen by pathologists.
There may also be inflammation in there that isn't causing any clinical problems but can be seen with the scope.
I'd wait to hear from the advisory committee. You can't be the first person from there applying to med school.
Your MCAT scores will tell the real tale as to whether the courses were adequate or not.

Blood is tested only for what is ordered by the physician. If a pregnancy test is ordered, the only result that we get is whether or not you're pregnant.
If a drug screen was ordered, then that other information would be available.
