Why does everyone talk about the first 3 seasons of Family Guy with such reverence? It's not any different today than it was in 1999, except that today fans are aware of how formulaic it is, thanks in much part to South Park blowing the lid, and are finally getting bored with the formula. But...
They need a theme in order to matter to me. Toonami, for instance. Or Cartoon Cartoon Fridays (does that even exist any more?).

"Membership Drive" has already aired once. Indeed, it has nothing to do with Shredder's return; it's a story about the Justice Force and the latest return of Nano. Mostly it has Mikey as Turtle Titan trying to get admitted into the Justice Force. It's basically filler.
Clerks-Wanted to see it, was maybe for a while when I was younger was a bit turned off by the fact that the DVD set is R-rated (despite that only the live Jay & Bob intros and the commentaries have any adult content). I didn't see it until Adult Swim started rerunning in Novmeber of last year...
