I got an offer of a 2003 Neon motor and was told it will fit in my 2001 Neon. Is this true, I heard conflicting answers from Junkyards.

I have ownde the car since late 2000, it gave me almost 10 years of service. Great car. What are the chances it will last me another 5 years if I replace it with a motor about 5 years old and 80000 miles. What do you recommend I fix/update/replace when I do a motor swap?
