    Does a doctor have to keep this confidential?

    if a minor tells a dr that they have a problem such as an ed does the doctor have to keep it confidential? if so does he have to keep it confidential from the parents? ps. i dont have an ed i was just using it as an example if anyone answering is a dr or knows from experience and its not a guess...
