Couldn't help but notice this as well. My nexus one actually out performed my n97 mini in areas of my work building, like holding a call in the elevator, that consistently failed on my Nokia. Anecdotal evidence. Hard to keep controlled test. But a true story nonetheless.

I had a N8 for 3weeks on review along side my X10i, after i finished going over web related content i took my main sim and put it back in my X10. The N8 has good hardware, but my word the software realy leaves much to be desired, for me atleast. My advice would be to try it, you may just love...

resurrection of a year and a half thread--and it still looks like PALCO is crap. why nokia charges $500+ for a phone, then leaves you high and dry when something goes wrong is anybody's guess when i buy a lexus, i expect lexus service. it's like buying a BMW and getting kia service.

Eh, I don't know. Usually the official threads start to die out once everyone starts getting them. If it's anything like the N95 phenomenon from two years ago, we should start to see tons of review threads and a specific thread for N97 owners pop up.

I think they said sometime on Saturday. Anyway, this was pretty solid stuff. Really liked that they kept the 2D intro segment going...that animation was pretty spectacular.
