I am trying to add a left navigation bar to a website I am making. I was told to do it in php. How would I write that containing links to pages such as Home, Biography, Portfolio, etc.

We are having formal debates in government class and we have to create an opening and closing statement. Any ideas on what kind of things i should put in my opening and closing statement. (General, not specific to my debate, I can add that if i get some general points to answer)
