Hi Kera4, Thanks for filling me in. He did mention the radio frequency nerve burning. How long has it lasted? I just would like to be able to get off the medications&light duty @ work(which I've been on since oct.) Thanks for the info. Oddie

I just had my 3rd epidural,last week. They have helped,but im still om meRAB.I've had my epiduarls @ a pain clinic.The Dr. said the next step would be to go in &burn the nerve enRAB to block the censor going to my brain!!! I don't know about all of this!!! Has anybody ever had this procedure...

Thanks for your information.I'm getting ready to have my 1st injection on dec.8.Everybody i've talked to says to make sure they use some type of radiology,showing the dr. the exact place to inject. Did the dr. just guess where to stick the needle? Did they not give you pain med.to go home with...

Thank you, Bad news!!!Dr. office called yesterday&had to reschedule injection. Don't even have a date.Dr. had to go out of town,hopefully nomore than a couple of weeks. It's really getting on my nerves,I've been waiting since septeraber. Thanks for your reply,it helps to have people to talk to...

I have had a bulging disc pressing on my sciatic( for about 3yrs.now.) Have been on tramadol,which has worked great,until recently. I need to know do I need to see a neurosurgeon or orthopidic surgeon? How do you know when you have disc/sciatica problems? Any answers I will welcome!! ODDIE:confused:

I've been waiting 2 months for epidural.I finally had my 1st this past tuesday. It went well.But the dr.said that I would need another one in februrary. aren't you suppose to only have 3 a year. Is this normal for them to give them back to back. I was just concerned about only having 1 left...
