Yes, you are correct, thats very very CGI. this is what wikipedia says: "A digitally rejuvenated Patrick Stewart also makes an uncredited cameo as a younger Charles Xavier who had not yet lost the use of his legs." But it doesn't say if Stewart actually aproved it.
