    Has anyone studied abroad in a country and had to learn a new language first?

    If you attend a one year preparatory program to get immersed in the culture and taught the language, is it possible to then continue studying for a degree? A HIGHLY technical degree? (nuclear engineer, chemistry).... I plan on doing something like this, and I have an easy time picking up new...
