my beta is sick with swim bladder i believe....he cant stay submerged as soon as he relaxes he floats to the top like hes dead..its been a week and im afraid for him...i have given him peas for the last couple days ...please tell me he will get back to himself...i miss him watching me cook

Thanks to all for the great answers.. I think I will add a plant and a cave for George( my beta) to explore. My second question is does he recognize me? He seems to watch me.. This is my first fish and I know nothing about them. So I may sound silly... Sorry I want to do the right things.
