Does the London Marathon or any big marathon around the world give any sort of money rewards for non elite professional athletes? I just ask as it would be nice to see your average person being given some kind of recognition for finishing such a challenging race in a good time.

I am designing a webpage and I need the background to have a 100% width, but the browsers cuts the image when it is too small or tiles it, leaving like a white 1px line between tiles which looks naff. How do I get a background that covers the whole page? Sorry, forgot to explain the background...
