    How do I delete my search history on Firefox?

    When I start typing something into a search engine it shows everything I have searched for in the past. This happens even after I go to History>Show All History> then delete everything. Thanks for the help.

    Maybe when I asked this previously I didn't ask correctly. Whenever I type into certain fields, for example, the field where I just typed "How do I delete history from Firefox," a drop box appears and shows me everything I have ever typed into that field before. How do I stop this from happening...
