how much does a iPhone 3gs from ATT cost without a contract, refurbished or regular

im deciding to switch to the iPhone from my samsung impression. i really only do facebook and the fmylife.com on the internet. but i want to know how much data that will take along with a few apps for sports, news, ect. so i know what data plan to do. thanks!
