Tech is coming out in a couple of days to setup fios but I am running Linux on my home desktop. Will this be a problem for the tech? Why does he need at least one computer, btw, for setting up Fios?

I just fios...it's an actiontec and drops signals and range is weak. Anyone experience similar?
