    Car makes loud noise when accelerating and gets louder when rain splashes under the car

    (2000 Ford Taurus).? Hello, I have a 2000 Ford Taurus, and every time I accelerate my car makes this loud motor like noise. When its raining and water splashes under the car, the noise gets even louder. Does anyone know what the problem may be?
