Usually with touchscreen Nokias, as opposed to other touchscreen phones I've used, it would be better to go to the T9 option if you have it, though I'm not sure if the X6 has this like the 5530. The width of the phone makes it good for portrait T9 texting. Unless you hold the phone sideways...
