Ok thought I had a alternator/stator/ voltage regulator problem, cause the volt meter was registering only 11.6 even with a new battery in it.. to find a burnt out broken wire at the voltage regulator...so I fixed the wire up now reading 13.7 .... put bike back together then took bike out for...

when riding shouldn't be over the 12volts + range, what do you think the problem is?
