    my bike wont idle bandit 400?

    i have a gsf 400 bandit from 91 and i cannot get it to idle, i pulled off the carbs and i cleans out the jets, but i cant get it to idle i can sometimes get it to start without carb cleaner but it revs to 4k then dies in about 5 secs any ideas tips i tryed doing the vacume test behind the carbs...

    bike carb issues bandit 400?

    i'm rebuildind a 91 gsf400 for my girlfriend and i'm in a bit in a fog, the bike will start breifly and run for about 5 seconds, then it will die, i have kept it running via the spray in carb cleaner method, but it has to be sprayed in the entire time as soon as i stop spraying it goes 1,2,3...

    it looks like a decent bike just be sure to lube the chain other wize try to go for 55, you could prolly do cheaper look at resale stores and garage sales, but all together if you need a bike now just offer her 55 and be prepaerd for maybe a few bucks more.
