The mechanic is replacing the timing belt, water pump, tension belts. He is also replacing the spark plugs. I'm also having him replace my rear brake pads and thermostat. It looks like the total cost for this job is roughly $1070.00. Is this pretty much in line?

My rear window and wiper stopped working. In addition, the rear lock stopped locking. My mechanic told me there is a rear module or computer that is failing. Can somebody help me with this part? I want to see if it would be fairly easy to purchase and replace on my own. I'm not too sure the part...
