If you're a non-phone or non gadget kind of guy who simply needs max productivity out of a smartphone without being a fan of a smartphone, get the 9700 Blackberry. Those devices just work, bulletproof, and they got great PIMs. N900 or the Nexus One are more for geekier inclinations.

I've found that the 5800 camera gives better results if you take the time to setup the variables thru the menu rather than just let it go on automatic.
Difference is those are button based phones and this is a touchscreen phone. You don't have just a dpad and 2 softkeys to interact with the phone but 3.5 inches of goodness!
