    No, you have to play 10 years to be eligible. However, if he retired at the end of next season, yes, I think he's a Hall of Famer, but it might take a couple of years of voting. If he plays 5-7 more years and gets 3000 hits, he's a First Ballot HOFer.

    5. Spoken in English by Ichiro, without Rickey's help, thanks you very much. Ichiro speaks English, just ask the all-stars. He gives a rousing, profanity-laden speech in English before every all-star game. The AL hasn't lost since he started doing that.

    Their careers both started in 2001 so comparisons are pretty straightforward Ichiro has a better batting average and he hits more triples. Pujols hits far more home runs, a lot more doubles, drives in way more runs, scores more, walk more and strikes out less. I'm a die-hard Mariners fan but...

    Have you ever heard or saw a no-hitter in person, tv or radio?

    Didn't see this one, but I've seen two on TV: Dennis Martinez' perfect game against the Dodgers Dwight Gooden's no-hitter against the Mariners (wah!) Live, in a AAA game in Vancouver I saw Andrew Lorraine lose a no-hitter with two outs in the ninth on a singe by Rob Deer. Congrats to Sanchez.
