I am considering choosing this a related text for an english assignment, but I'm not too sure whether or not it is all that challenging. I know it is talking about the challenge the returned Vets faced, but does it explore any other concepts of challenging in your opinion?

Why were the Dardenelles important to both sides in the war? I know that the british tried to take control of the dardenelles so they could get supplies to the russians, but how was that important if they were not successful? or were they? and how were they important to the Germans & Turks?
