    I did my family history on Ancestry.com and was surprised when I saw...?

    some people in my tree could be traced all the way back to Charlemagne. Is this surprising or is that like being related to Genghis Khan, not uncommon since he had so many kids. They were on my Mom's side, so I guess Mitochodrial DNA test could indicate whether I have the proper background...
