Guantanamo needs to be closed down and those detainees need to be put somewhere. The USA have to detain them somewhere on it's own soil. People need to get that into their head. Edit to Kevin - Liberals wanted to get out of Iraq while Bush was president not Afghanistan. Get your facts straight.

I don't know where you heard that but it is not true. And if there would be a vote on that, Almost all would vote into keeping their healthcare system. Suggesting to take away their healthcare system is politic suicide.

We have a canadian army. What you said is pretty ignorant considering we are in Afghanistan doing our share in that war. We do not need a big military like yours because we mind our business and NOBODY wants to attack us.

What about the numbers while Bush was President? Or Clinton? Or Bush senior? Carter? Reagan? So on. Soldiers will die no matter who the President is. No matter what party the President is in. No President let soldiers die specially ones who are taken prisonners. They all do what they can to save...
