So, I bought a SIM card today, just signed it up, but it's not working. When I look at my online account, it doesn't even have a SN number registered. How do I get the SIM card to work. *note that this is a locked phone, the guy at the store said he has seen many like it before, and it will work*

Do you need to have an actual employee to lock an unlocked phone to Telus, or is there another way to do it at home by yourself? I have a Sciphone G15, and trying to do so. Working solution will win points.
