    advice on mx bikes please?

    Get good gear first. Then a 125 from Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda, or Suzuki. 4 stroke if you have the money, you will end up on your ass more on a 2 stroke but they are just as good once you learn to control it.

    What should i ask for my 1980 Suzuki GS1000?

    Good condition but needs a top end rebuild and all the carbs redone. How much is it worth?
