    How far is the average American willing to walk without using a car or taxi?

    Let's assume you're going somewhere BESIDES a supermarket so you won't be lugging 30 pounds of groceries back home. Say you have to go to a bank, or to the post office, or the nearest library. How close to where you live would it have to be for you to not use your car or take a taxi?

    Why do you suppose people move into homes near airports and then start complaining...

    ...about the noise afterwards? Perhaps when they first looked at their house, they thought all that noise was the next door neighbor's lawnmower. After all, it's easy to confuse the sound of a lawnmower with the drone of a jet engine. LOL

    How many push-ups do I need to do each day to get in shape for boot camp?

    I'm already doing between 100-150 but I'm not seeing any result. How many more do I have to do? A thousand? (I can only do about 25 at a time so I have to take 10 minute breaks in between)
