If your LCD tv is HD Compliant (ie: actually is capable of displaying HD spec), and has an HD tuner and an HD signal coming into it, then you're already there. If your LCD tv is not HD, there is nothing you can do to get a true HD signal displayed on it. An HD external tuner won't help either...
