I really don't suggest going alone but... make sure you have a cell phone ( that's fully charged) a couple of bottles of water, snacks like granola bars, nuts, trail mix ( something not too bulky or heavy). "I" would make sure I had a pocket knife,some matches or a lighter, a waterproof jacket...

Last summer I had a small garden, big enough to have a few tomato plants, a cucumber plant, and few green pepper plants. My tomatoes did ok, tons of small tomatoes, but none got very big, I had cucumbers, and my green peppers blossomed, but the peppers never got much bigger than about half...
