I agree that volume difference has always been there but to my ear it seems to be much worse lately. If HD quality is up, logically in mind, something would have to give if there is only so much bandwidth (if I can use that term with satellite) to go around. Too bad though, there are still so...

I have also noticed an improvement in HQ quality over the past few days. However, I have noticed that the volume coming from most SD sources has dramatically dropped off. So much so that I have to significantly raise the volume to hear it at a decent level... only to wet myself when I switch...

I've found the best method is to run a greyhound comb through them.
